Following a short illness, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Earley died at her home, lot three, concession five, Adelaide Township, on Friday, January 17, in her 88th year. Mrs. Earley was born in Whitby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smithrim. coming to Adelaide Township 64 years ago following her marriage on Christmas Day, 1876. Her husband, John J. Earley, died 16 years ago. She was a member of Kerrwood United Church and was an active member in the women's organizations of the church and was honorary president of the W.M.S. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Payne, of Chicago; two sons, Howard Earley, of Adelaide, and Willard Earley, of Strathroy. The funeral was held from the residence Sunday afternoon, with Rev. F. Fydell, of Kerrwood United Church, officiating. Interment was in Strathroy Cemetery. _TMPLT:
