Who were the parents of Elizabeth (Rozer) Wheeler?

  • Papenfuse (1985)1 states that she was "possibly the daughter of Notley Rozer (?-1727) of Prince George's County and wife Elizabeth Whetenhall Rozer (?-1733)."
    • BUT Shirley Middleton-Moller (2002) disagrees: "Is she the dau of Notley Rozers 1st marriage to Jane Digges? Did they have a daughter Elizabeth? I do know she is NOT the dau of Notley Rozers second marriage to Elizabeth Whetenhall, their dau Elizabeth married George Slye. This Elizabeth is called wife of George Slye in her uncle John Whetenhall's will and Elizabeth died before George and he remarried to Clare Neale."
