Advisory

Advisory: there are many internet trees claiming that Elizabeth, wife of Thomas Pugh was Elizabeth Richardson, daughter of Joseph Richardson and Elizabeth Bevan-Richardson. This has been disproven. Records of the Hopewell Friends Meeting show Elizabeth's maiden name as Pugh [some show her as a daughter of a Harry and Catherine Pugh, although this appears to be unproven], and Elizabeth is listed as "Elizabeth (Pugh) Pugh" on the gravestone of her grandson, Enoch Pugh.
