JOSEPH, New London, s[on]. of James, had liv[ed]. some time at Westerly bef[ore]. 1679, had two s[ons]. James and Joseph, who, aft[er]. his d[eath]. 14 oct. 1702, were taken by the wid[ow]. Mary to Boston, as Caulkins, 345, tells; while two d[aughters]s. Mary, w[ife]. of Alexander Baker, and Eliz, w[ife]. of Jonathan Rogers, contin[ued]. to liv[e]. at that part of New London, now Montville, but the wid[ow]. went back to Boston,as from the will of her s[on]. James, Mar. 1712, is kn[own].
