This source cites George B Blodgette and Amos E Jewett, Early Settlers of Rowley, Massachusetts (Rowley, 1933, reprinted Somersworth, NH: New England History Press, 1981), 256, 266, for information that Elizabeth's maiden name may be Northend. She is "said to have been the daughter of [Mr.] John and Elizabeth (Coole) Northend of Ripplingham in the parish of Rowley, Yorkshire, born in England about 1612."

Elizabeth (Northend), b. prob. abt. 1612, m. Francis Parratt of Rowley, in 1655, left a widow Elizabeth, who married (2) 24 Feb. 1657-58, Thomas Tenney. Parratt made his overseers, his "loving brethren," Maximilian Jewett and Ezekiel Northend. Will witnessed by Ezekiel Northend, John Palmer. Rev. Ezekiel Rogers, left a bequest to his "sumtime servant Elizabeth Tenney els Parratt, ten pounds." Anthony Northend, in his letter, sends to his sisters in New England showing that at least one other besides Margaret came over. Probably Maximilian Jewett married a sister of Francis Parratt and there can be little doubt that Elizabeth Northend married Francis Parratt.
