Elizabeth Ann Coker's maiden name was McGuire. Unable to locate a marriage record for Mansel Coker and Elizabeth in Murray County, Georgia or in the Georgia marriage records on Ancestry.com. Maiden name confirmed through death certificates of daughter Martha Coker Holcomb and son Joseph; see their pages. Transcribed information on death certificate for Joseph says her name was Mary McGuire. No other reference found that indicates her given name was Mary.
There is other supporting evidence.
