Elizabeth "Betty" Langowski Laughner
Erie - Elizabeth "Betty" Langowski Laughner, age 86, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Independence Court of Erie. She was born in Erie on June 4, 1935, daughter of the late Anthony and Eleanor Lange Langowski.
Betty was a graduate of the former Academy High School. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed gardening and reading. Animals held a special place in her heart, especially her pet dogs. Above all else, Betty loved her family, especially time spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald J. Laughner; one son, Timothy D. Laughner; three sisters, Sophie Graeca, Helen Kanuk, and Eleanor Gleichsner; four brothers, Stanley, John, Leo and Henry Langowski. Survivors include six children, Susan Smith (Scott), Kathleen Hart (Michael), Gary Laughner (Gail), Christine Lindsey, Mark Laughner (Corky) and Mary Grace Radecki (John); 20 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
