Obituary 

 Mrs. Elizabeth Kent Barnett, who departed this life Tuesday morning, May 9th,  after a few days illness, was born twenty-one years ago last October.  In 1909 she was married to the late Marshall Barnett and to this union was born the one child, Marshia Elizabeth, who, with a mother Mrs. J. Hostler, two sisters and five brothers and a large circle of friends are left to mourn her loss.  She was a faithful wife,  a kind sister and a loving mother.  She was a member of the Methodist church.  The funeral took place on Thursday from the home of Richard Barnett and was conducted by her pastor, Rev. T. Porter Bennett.
