Elizabeth Kapp was the daughter of Johannes Kapp and Katherine Etter of Mt Joy, Lancaster Co, Pa. Johannes died when his children were young. Elizabeth married John L Gish abt 1763 Lancaster Co, Pa. Children were John, Christian, Mathias, Jacob, Abraham, Anna Marie, Catherine.
Husband of Elizabeth, John Gish died in the Lancaster Militia in 1783. The children were all under 21.

"Elizabeth Gish deceased
Be it remembered that in the fifthe day of February in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty three. Letters of Administration, on all and singular the goods and chattles rights and credits which were of Elizabeth Gish late of Greenwood Township deceased were issued in the common form to Samuel Brendel, of the same place. Inventory and amount to be exhibited in the Registers Office at Landisburg, within the times appointed by law.
