Will Abstract

Will of Elizabeth Davis of the County of Franklin in the State of Missouri.

Item 1st I desire to be buried in a plain and decent manner

Item 2nd. I desire that my executor pay all my just debts (which are few) out of the first proceeds of my estate

Item 3rd I give and bequeath to my son Robert Davis a bay colt - two years old last Spring

Item 4th I give and bequeath to my four youngest children (who have remained with me since the death of their Father and labored for my support and nursed and tended on me in my last sickness (to wit) Robert Davis, my Daughters Patsy Davis, Milly Davis and Sarah Davis all of my estate real personal and mixed be it goods or chattels or otherwise, that I may die seized or possessed of to my above named four children and their heirs forever..

Item 5th I appoint my son Robert Davis my Executor to execute this my Last Will and Testament, In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 20th day of June A.D. 1840.
