Source:Hall, David Brainerd. Halls of New England, Genealogical and Biographical, p. 81, believes the Elizabeth Brown who married Josiah Hall is the widow of Ebenezer Brown. Ebenezer Brown of Cambridge d. 1773. He m. 1754 an Elizabeth Jameson. They do not appear to have had any children, so there is little coverage of them.
The only record of an Elizabeth Jameson (or various spellings) brought back by aearch of americanancestors.org database of vital records over a 20 year period was baptized in Beverley in 1722 to a Robert Jamison (Source:Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts, United States. Records of the First Church in Beverly, Massachusetts, 1667-1772, p. 165).
