Facts and Events
Name Elizabeth Jackson
Gender Female
Birth? Abt 1668 Flushing, Queens Co., L.I., New York
Marriage Abt 1690 Flushing, Queens Co., New York, United Statesto Charles Doughty
Death[1][8] Jan 1758 Flushing, Queens, New York, United States

Elizabeth Doughty is mentioned in her father's 1724 will.

Antony Maitland gives alt birthdate of 1666 but the article in the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society "Doughty Family of Long Island" says she died January 1758, aged nearly ninety years and so gives her birth date 'about' 1668.

A record of the marriage of Elizabeth Jackson, daughter of Col. John, to Isaac Doty has been found in an old 1897 book about the Dotys. But the dates of Isaac's children being born during about the same time period as Charles' children and the fact that Charles was still living, make this a major conflict of data. This is discussed in the associated talk page for Elizabeth, see link above left.
