Notes

Elizabeth Haynes is a proven daughter of Joseph Haynes of Botetourt County, Virginia, and she is listed in his will proven in 1815. Her birthdate of 24 February 1775 is four years before the marriage of her father Joseph Haynes and Jeanette Young in Rockingham County on 9 October 1779, so it appears that her mother [currently unknown] had died prior to Joseph Haynes' marriage in 1779. Additional research needed to determine the identity of Elizabeth Haynes' mother.
