Elizabeth's father died in the Civil War when she was 21 years old.
In the 1900 census, it is reported that she was the mother of 8 children.
There is some confusion surrounding her death. The crude engraving on her headstone says "dec. Jan 18, 1911", but it looks as if the engraving may have been added at a later date. Where is her death certificate?
In the 1920 census, her husband is found living in the home of their daughter Bertha. There is a "Mary L" living there with him who is identified as his wife. Who is this Mary L.?
