1k. Elizabeth Harrod, daughter of John, Sr., and Sarah (Moore) Harrod, married Benjamin Davis, a cousin of Anthony Wayne, and believed to have been the son of Garah Davis of Frederick County, Maryland (died 1764). Elizabeth and Benjamin Davis were living in Rostrovar Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, December 29, 1775, when James Harrod signed a deed conveying land "near Contuky River" to Benjamin Davis. On October 18, 1776, Benjamin sold some land in Lincoln County, Kentucky, to William Harrod. The Bill of Sale was witnessed by Jediah Ashcroft and Elizabeth Davis. No further information was found. They may have gone to Ohio but efforts to locate and identify them were not successful.
