Elizabeth Bennett Krauss "Beth", age 50, was called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by family, on December 14, 2016 after a courageous two and a half year battle with neuroendocrine cancer. Beth was born December 29, 1965 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but her formative years were spent growing up on a family farm in Oxford, Michigan. Beth was an award winning/blue ribbon baker and photographer at the Ohio State Fair, artist, and lover of animals, but her greatest joy was raising her children. Beth was an active member of Linworth Baptist Church and adored developing relationships with her brothers and sisters in Christ. Beth is survived by her loving husband, Cordell of 29 years; children, Nicholas (Jasmine) Krauss and Natalie Woods; grandchildren, Abraham Krauss and Morgan Woods; parents, John and Susan Katsoulos; brothers, Christopher Gambol, Bill Moroski, and Jim Katsoulos; and sister, Eva Stone; and many beloved relatives and friends. Family will receive friends at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026, on Friday, December 16, 5-8 p.m. and the Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, December 17, 10 a.m. at Linworth Baptist Church, 6200 Linworth Rd., Worthington, OH 43085. I am riding [sic] in support of my wife's battle with Carcinoid Cancer. Beth has undergone two major surgeries since her diagnosis in May 2014. Due to complications with the last surgery completed in July 2015, her small intestine has created a fistula, then developed a severe blood clot in her leg and as a result she has been put on daily liquid nutrition which is given intravenously through a PICC line in her arm.
Carcinoid cancer is not curable at this point. Because only 12,000 new cases are diagnosed every year, research and funding dwarfs that of other types of cancer. We are so thankful for The James Cancer Center here in Columbus Ohio for the research being done on all types of cancer, especially carcinoid. Some good news is the announcement that The James will begin to offer the PRRT treatment that has been approved in Europe for over 20 years specifically focused on Carcinoid cancer.
We would never have been able to get to where we are if it were not for the outpouring of prayer and support from family, friends, the good people at Linworth Baptist Church, and the extraordinary health benefits provided by BMW Financial Services. God bless. Cordell

Beth was born Elizabeth Anne Gambol but changed her middle name to Bennett after a falling out with her (biological) father. She told me this, personally. I think she took the Elizabeth Bennett from the character in "Pride and Prejudice", but I am not certain. I am her cousin - Shawna Gambol Woodard
