Biography

Elizabeth Franklin, daughter of Nathan Franklin, was born about 1785. ^[1]

On 23 December 1806 in Botetourt County, she married William Poage. ^[1]; the ceremony was performed by Rev Samuel Mitchell. The Marriage Bond on 17 December 1806 was signed by William Poage and Elizabeth's father, Nathan Franklin. ^{[2] [3]}

She died, age 82, in Back Creek, Roanoke, Virginia on 11 June 1867. ^{[1] [4]}
