- Elizabeth Foster Rockwell, in Find A Grave.
This burial is not documented in the Hale Collection. There appears to be no evidence of the actual place of burial.
- ↑ Middletown Vital Records has her husband, Deacon Joseph Rockwell, dying on this date. However, the Hale Collection record from Deacon Joseph's gravestone says "Rockwel, Joseph, Dea. 1st Church of Christ in Middletown, May 31, 1704, died Oct. 27, 1742, age 74 yrs." That date and age at death is consistent with his birth at Windsor in 1668. The published Middletown Church Records includes the death of neither Deacon Joseph or his wife, Elizabeth. A possible explanation is that the entry 1753 entry in the VR should have been for the widow of Deacon Joseph; but that is not conclusive.
