The notes of descendant Dr. Richard Farmer say Elizabeth was a "grazier's daughter of Stockingford."

Bond over the estate of "John Farmer, of Arley Street in Chilvers Coton" was granted to Elizabeth Farmer on 24 Aug 1664. His personal estate was inventoried on 19 Oct 1664 and valued at 136 pounds, mostly in livestock and grain. After Elizabeth remarried they lived on the Farmer land at Ansley. (Taylor)
