My Aunt started off with the story,Stanley Carson was looking for a wife! My Grandma said, I have a 1st cousin,Elizabeth Davies who lives near Elora, Ontario. So Elizabeth was invited to Mountain Lake-Cape Rich(just north of Meaford, land was taken over years ago for a military base). Elizabeth stayed at Grandma's, and was introduced to Stanley. The rest is history!! My Father was born at Cape Rich.

I don't know when the government took over their lands. It's too bad,such beautiful views looking over Georgian Bay. It will never be given back, as it was used for artillery. Civilians are not allowed there, except for special guided visits. I have never been there.

Next my Aunt went on to Mary. She boarded at my Grandma's in Meaford, when she went to High School. Mary had a house in Meaford on Montgomery St.She is a widow now,and lives in Collingwood. She does reflexology treatments. She did wonders for my Uncle's wife after her bad car accident. Therapy on feet.
Must go now, getting ready for thanksgiving. Dinner is here to-morrow.
