  3. ↑ Father's birth about 1623 based on depositions, so he probably married no earlier than 1644. Clement's father was in New England by 1634 and settled in Lynn. Clement married a Watertown woman, and he moved to Gloucester about 1650. There is no record of him until 1649 when he was a witness in court, residence unspecified but the parties perhaps of Lynn (here). See cited NEHGR article.
