"Death: Feb. 28, 1771 wife of Caleb Chapman age 42 yrs"
The last digit of the year is indistinct and could be a "1" or a "4". In either case the date of death is inconsistent with the birth of her youngest child, as listed by Rev. Chapman, 19 September 1775. It should be noted that her the births of her four youngest children, as given by Rev. Chapman, were not recorded in any published Connecticut vital records.
