Person:Elizabeth Beckstead (2)

Believed to have married Peter Zimmer, whose wife's first name was known to have been Elizabeth/Elisabetha. According to Lee Allen Beckstead^[2], Peter Zimmer and his wife Elizabeth adopted John Volkman Beckstead. He was the son of Elizabeth Beckstead's brother John, and was born shortly before his biological father turned 18. After Peter died, John Volkman (Beckstead) Zimmer was raised by his biological father, John Beckstead^[1].

However, Find A Grave^[3] identifies Peter's wife as Elisabetha Freymeyer, while acknowledging that they adopted Johannes Volkman Becksted Zimmer. No sources are provided
