I'm looking for information on Elizabeth Ashbrook who married a man named Mr. Wells in Bourbon Co.,Ky. about 1792. They had three children, Elizabeth, Aaron, and Felix Wells who are mentioned in her father Aaron Ashbrook's will of 1810. He left part of his estate to his daughter's children along with bequests to his own children. The child Felix Wells mentioned in the will may be my gggrandfather. I know that my actual gggrandfather was Felix Wells and he came to Ohio with his father's family in the early 1800's. I also know that Felix was born in Bourbon County, Ky. in 1797, per his death record in Ross County, Ohio. I'm trying to determine if this is the same Felix Wells and if his father's name was Francis Wells. So far, no marriage record has been found for a marriage between Francis Wells and Elizabeth Ashbrook. Francis Wells did live in Bourbon County after 1790 until about 1797, from information on tax lists of that county.
