WHEREAS, Elizabeth Armstrong Meane died on the 2nd day of May 1971, and in Article III of her Last Will and testament, probated in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Guilford County, North Carolina, bequeathed and devised all the remainder of her property, real and personal, tangible and intangible, of whatsoever nature and wheresoever situated, including her interest in the property hereinafter described, to her surviving grandchildren, the children of George Allen Mebane, IV and Thomas Armstrong Mebane; the children of Geeorge Allen Mebane, IV being: George Allen Meabne, V (single) William Michael Mebane, married to Melta L Lucy Lee Mebane Slawson, (single)

and the children of Thomas Armstrong Mebane being: Vickie M Anderson, married to William H Anderson Mollie W Mebane, (single)
