Elizabeth Ambrose was baptised on 5th October 1755 at Studham in Bedfordshire, daughter of John and Mary Ambrose. She has yet to be traced after her baptism for certain. It is possible that she may have been either the Elizabeth Ambrose who married Thomas Granby in Studham in 1774 or the Elizabeth Ambrose who married John Batchelor in Studham in 1775, or neither of them.
