    Summary.

Court proceedings between her children and her father indicate 1) she was married about 1807 to Aaron Rawlings and was underage, possibly as young as 15, when he died in 1808; 2) she then married David McKinsey and had three children; he disappeared and they divorced; 3) she married third James Peek about 1817 or 1818 and had six children who brought the suit, which concerned a slave originally owned by her father; and 4) she was alive in 1835 during a related proceeding, but deceased in 1845 during this suit.

  2. Assuming she was deceased before James had children with other women, which given his history is not an entirely safe assumption. She was deceased by the time of proceedings in Cornelius Maxwell v. Walter Alley in 1845.
