Dexter was b. 20 Dec 1804 in Middlebury, NY, d. 1872; m. Eliza Wilson. She was b.ca. 1805 and d.ca 1897 and was the d/o Judge Isaac Wilson and Susanna Doran. Dexter moved to Alden, NY in 1832 and that is where he died.
↑ The book Ewells in America states that Eliza was the daughter of Isaac Wilson and Susanna Doran. However every census record from 1850 through 1880 states she was born in Pennsylvania.

There is no record that Isaac Wilson and Susanna Doran ever lived in Pennsylvania, whereas many historical records show them moving from Addison County VT to Genesee County NY in 1805.

The 1800 census records several Isaac Wilson's in Pennsylvania. Most likely one of them was Eliza's father.
