OCTOGENARIAN PIONEER.
Mrs. F. Sheldrick, Senr., who died recently at 'Greenwich,' The Oaks Road, Camden, at the age of 82 years, was the only survivor of one of Sydney's oldest and best known families. Her four brothers, George, John, William and Edward Trickett, were all well over 6ft in height and were renowned for their abilities as athletes, as well as being responsible for the construction of some of the finest retaining walls and reclamation works around Sydney Harbour. The youngest brother, Ned, became the champion sculler of Australia at an early age and later was the first Australian to win a world's championship. Mrs. Sheldrick is survived by her husband, at the ripe old age of 82, two sons, two daughters, 30 grand-children and 13 great-grand-children.
