"Edgerton Enterprise: Eliza Ann Bushart was born February 8, 1960, near Casner Station Illinois, and departed this life August 6, 1929, at her home at Greeley, Colorado, at the age of 69 years and 6 months. The cause of her death was enlargement of the heart.
She was united in marriage to Marion Henry Burrous April 27, 1880. They moved from Illinois in 1893 to the vicinity of Edgerton, residing here until the fall of 1909, when they moved to Genoa, Colorado, and lived there until the fall of 1918. They then moved to a farm 1-1/2 miles northwest of Greeley, where the family still lives.
Left to mourn her departure are the husband and twelve children."
The twelve children were: Clarence, Walter, Hattie, William, James, Claude, Hobart, Dewey, Lee, Sadie, Theodore and Homer. Eliza was predeceased by 2 daughters: Mamie, who died in 1882 at the age of 18 months, and Olive, who died in 1916 at the age of 33.
