Eliza Beardsell, daughter of Joseph & Sarah of Holm[e] in the parish of Almondbury was born 20 Sep 1823 and baptised 2 Nov 1823.
Eliza's elder sister, Martha, was baptized as the daughter of Joseph and Hannah, and a marriage record for the couple has been found. Baptisms for Eliza and the younger children give the name of their mother as Sarah. A marriage of Joseph to someone named Sarah is yet to be found. Joseph was a widower by 1841.
