"DEMOCRATIC WATCHMAN", BELLEFONTE, PA., FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1897 MRS. ELIZA MCKIBBEN died at her home on Cedar Run, Clinton County, PA., Friday, Feb. 19, 1897, aged 84 years, 7 months, 21 days. She leaves two sons and one daughter. Mrs. McKibben's maiden name was Elizabeth Askey, born and raised one mile north of Howard, Centre County, PA. One brother and one sister survive her: Ellis Askey, at Ridott, Ill. and Orpha Pletcher, at Howard. Burial in the Centre Hill cemetery. (Copied by Jerry Lee Askey 1983)
