(an updated work by a family association building on

), p. 32, does not list a son Eliot in this family. Instead it shows a daughter Hannah b. 1771, damaging its credibility, since Hannah's birth in 1750 is found in Braintree as is Eliot's in 1771 in Warwick. However, it appears that this Eliot probably did not survive to adulthood. This may explain why Crane's apparently interview-driven information does not show Eliot.
Source:Allred, Marilyn. Town of Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts, Genealogical Records 1739-1900, Births, Marriages,
, p. 223, based on Warwick records does show a son Eliot in this family. But Warwick records show two Eliots, two marriages, and by all appearances, Allred just assumes the first marriage was the oldest Eliot, and the second one was the younger one. This appears wrong. It appears both marriages belonged to
the younger one
