Acquisition of Land in Virginia
- Abraham RECH and his wife Louisa of Frederick County, Maryland
- Sale of Property: 7 Oct 1829, 16 Oct 1829
- Sold to Elijah SNAPP of Frederick County, Virginia for $1200 their 1/2 rights and interests in a tract containing 400 acres with all its appurtenances, at the mountain corner of Thomas BUTLER on both sides of Cedar Creek in Frederick County, Virginia being the south western half of the said tract which was granted to Andrew VANCE, Sr. by Lord Thomas FAIRFAX on 6th Mar 1752, the 1/2 hereby conveyed being the part which adjoins George SNAP, Michael HUMBLE and others.
- Also, another tract containing 101 acres with all its appurtenances, except @ 31 acres sold by Andrew VANCE to Henry TRINERS (sp ?), adjoining above tract, corner of Col. ZANE at the line of Michael HUMBLES, corner John and Joseph BLAIR, line of Andrew LONGACRE, crossing Blairs Spring, partition line with said couple with Andrew VANCE, it the being the same land that was conveyed by Andrew VANCE to Jacob WOLFE on 12th Dec 1808 and by said Jacob WOLFE and his wife Mary to said couple on 2nd Mar 1819.
- Also, a third tract containing 7 acres, 3 roods, 18 square poles with all its appurtencnces, adjoining the above tract at the hill corner to Jacob WOLFE, line of George SNAPP, drain in Michael HUMBES' line, it being the same land that was conveyed by Jacob KACKLEY and his wife Sarah to said couple on 26th Aug 1824.
