Runion, Elijah - born 7/11/1757 in Shenandoah County, Virginia or abt. 1760 in New Jersey; entered service in Shenandoah County, Virginia, where he resided, in Virginia Company; moved to Ohio County, Virginia, then to Harrison County, Virginia, then to Jackson County, Virginia where he applied for Pension in 1833 per County Clerk of Court Benjamin Wright; soldier's Pension application was rejected, less than 6 months of service; Samuel Tanner & Jesse Carpenter made affidavit there then, per witness Lewis Maxwell & County Justice of the Peace Thomas Boggs. F-R9079, R2099.
