Facts and Events
Name Elijah Jones
Gender Male
Birth[3] Cal 1773 Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States
Marriage 18 Mar 1800 Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United Statesto Mehitable Haynes
Death[1][2][4] 7 Feb 1825 Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States

No definitive record of Elijah's birth has been found. The assignment of parentage to Nathaniel Alden Jones and Lois Claflin is based on the names of children Louisa Claflin (for putative mother) and Anthony (for putative paternal grandfather). It is worth noting that none of Nathaniel & Lois's children appear in published VRs.

Elijah died intestate; in his probate record, the following heirs signed in approval of the disposition of the estate: Mehitabel Jones (for herself and for Lydia, Mitta and Loisa Jones), Mehitable Barrell, Nelson Barrell, Elijah F Jones (for himself and for Maria and Benjamin Herick), and Russell Haynes (as guardian for Meschach H, Avery, and Anthony Jones).
