In Milton, Wis., May 24th, Mr. Elijah Goodrich, in the sixty-fourth year of his age. Bro. Goodrich made a profession of religion in early life, and united with the First-day Baptist Church at New Lebanon, N. Y. His place of residence, previous to his removal to this place, was in the town of Hancock, Mass. He had by his prudent course of conduct won for himself a large number of friends, Indeed, he was loved and respected by all who knew him, and those who knew him best respected him most. "He died as the good man dieth, and was gathered unto his father." V. H.
