ELIDA PENA
Elida Pena, 40, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville. She was born in Chicago, Ill., and was a Brownsville resident for numerous years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio Pena and Guadalupe Marquez. She is survived by her loving husband, Henry Pineda; two sons, Guadalupe Garcia and Michael Garcia; two daughters, Ernestina Garcia and Melissa Maria Vasquez; her sisters, Pita Pe�a and Norma L.; and brothers, Gregorio, Eleazar and Rogelio Pe�a; three step-children, Jose, Lusinda, and Gilberto Pineda; and several nieces, nephews, The Pe�a and Pineda Families. Visitation and a prayer service were held on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Delta Funeral Home. Elida's family would like to thank Dr. Karkutly and all the Nursing Staff in the SICU Unit at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.
