We the Subscribers have stated and settled the Acc Depending between RICHARD ELKINS and ARON GRIGSBY in r\Respect to ELIAS SHARPS Estate and find the ballances as Expressed in the above accounts to be just .. 26th June 1747.

- Spotsylvania Co. Deeds: Augt. 2, 1737. George x Proctor, at this time of the County of King George, planter, to John Proctor and Elias Sharpe, both of Spts. Co. £100 ster. "that parcel of land whereon my father, George Proctor, did dwell at the time of his death. 436 a. in Spts. Co., on Hasel Run, residue and remainder undisposed of by my father and by myself since his death, of 1500 a., purchased by sd. father of Wm. Strother of King George; sd. 436 a. being designed by my father to be given to his son, John Proctor, one party to these presents, and his daughter, Margaret Proctor, wife of Elias Sharpe, the other party to these presents," etc. David Bronaugh, John Steward, James Strother, Jno. Hobby. Augt. 2, 1737.
- Spotsylvania Co. Deeds: June 3, 1765. George Sharp and Mary, his wife, of Spts. Co., to Thomas James of Fredksbg. £35 curr. 150 a. in Spts. Co., part of a tract of land devised by George Proctor, Decd., to his daughter, Margaret, who inter-married with Elias Sharp, father of the sd. George Sharp, who is eldest son and heir at law of sd. Elias, who dying intestate, whereby sd. land descended to the sd. George, party to these presents, etc. Witnesses, J. Lewis, Chs. Robinson, Geo. Stubblefield, Francis Taliaferro, John Chew.
