[Note: The division of his mother's dower in 1793 calls Eleazer deceased so it is attractive to assume this is him, but Source:Brainard, Homer Worthington. Genealogy of First Four Generations and Names of Fifth Generation of Male Descendants of John Nutting of Groton, Mass.,, p. 33, notes that his children Abigail and Jonathan of Hollis, NH, were warned out of Pepperell in 1774, and wonders (despite reporting this date in his summary) if Eleazer had died in NH by 1774 and they were "trying to get back to their relatives". Of course, other explanations, such as being sick, might also apply, and there is no probate to help identify the man who died in 1791. If Brainard is correct, then this death record may belong to a different person.]
