1 Aug 1749: Inventory of Eliezer Giles of Hopkinton deceased: £1442-5-0, by John J[o?]nes, James Lock, Benj. Wood. 7 Aug 1749: Bond of Elizabeth Giles of Hopkinton Widow as administrat'x of her late husband Eleazer Giles late of Hopkinton Deceased Intestate. Swore to the inventory the same date. June 1750: Appraisal of real estate of Eliezer Giles Late of Hopkinton, set off to widow her thirds, remainder set off to Eliezer Giles the second son. List of heirs written by judge: Samuel (Eldest), Eleazar, John, Daniel, Ebenezer, James, Joseph, Elizabeth; notes advance to Elizabeth of £83-1-0. Judge's decree orders Eleazar to pay brother Samuel (double portion), and brothers John, Daniel, Ebenezer, James & Joseph (single portion) £52-1-6 [note: single share less than advance to Elizabeth]. 30 Mar 1756: Account of Elizabeth Brooks (formerly Elizabeth Giles) administratrix of Eleazer Giles late of Hopkinton, allowed. 12 May 1784: Warrant to divide real estate which was set off to his widow Elizabeth since reverted by her Death. 8 Oct 1784: Appraisal, set off to James Giles late of Hopkinton administrator of Eleazer Giles and also administrator of Daniel Giles late of Hopkinton yeoman Dec'd 4/9 of the whole, the rest "being heretofore disposed of by Deed". [Case 9137] 19 Feb 1757: Ebenezer Giels in twentieth year, James Giels in seventeenth year, Joseph Giels in fourteenth year, children of Mr Eleazer Giels late of Hopkinton, choose Isaac Farrar for their guardian.
