Attended Columbus School for Girls, PineManor College, and The Ohio State University (where she was a member ofKappa Kappa gamma sorority). She was a volunteer "Gray Lady" atLockbourne Air Force Base during World War II. Former board member ofGrant Hospital and the Columbus Chapter of the American Red Cross.Member of the Columbus Country Club, the Columbus Club, the DelrayBeach Club, the President's Club of The Ohio State University House,COSI, the Columbus Zoo, the Columbus Foundation, Columbus School forGirls, the Columbus Acad, the Junior League of Columbus, and BroadStreet Presbyterian Church. Avid patron of the Metropolitan Opera ofNew York, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the ColumbusMuseum of Art, Thurber House, the Kelton emy, and numerous other localcharities. She was also one of the original local investors in MajorLeague Soccer's Columbus Crew. Proceeded in death by her husbandTahlman Krumm. Survived by her children, Catherine Krumm Medd (RandallR. Medd) of Middletown, Md. And Tahlman Krumm, Jr. (Elizabeth EgnorKrumm) of Bexley; and 4 great grandchildren, Eric Tahlman Krumm ofColumbus, Jason Robert Krumm of New York City, Hannah Beaton Medd ofMelbourne, Fla, and Peter Bradley Medd of Baltimore, Md; cousins,Virginia Kurtz Ebinger (Mrs. Robert F. Ebinger) of Bexley and Robert B.Smith and Theodore B. Smith, both of Calif; and many nieces and nephews.At her request, a graveside memorial service will be held on Friday,October 19, at 10 a.m. at Green Lawn Cemetery. Contributions in hermemory may be made to the Columbus Chapter of the American Red Cross,the Tahlman Krumm Fund of the College of Engineering at The Ohio StateUniversity, or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by SchoedingerMidtown Chapel, ? East State Street."
