George W. DILL - Oshtemo, died suddenly at his home January 22, 1998. Mr. DILL was born September 23, 1918 in Allegan, MI, the son of Elda and Lola (KING) DILL. He was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and of Parsons Business College. He retired from James River after 32 years and was a W.W. II Army Veteran. He was a charter member of West Oshtemo Baptist Church and sat on the board of Deacons. He was an avid golfer and loved to garden. He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. On November 5, 1939, he was united in marriage to Martha (BEYER) DILL, who survives. Also surviving are one son, John W. DILL; two grandsons, Scott and Jeff DILL; one great-granddaughter, Hannah DILL; many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at West Oshtemo Baptist Church, Rev. Sydney A. Hawthorne officiating. Interment of cremated remains will be private at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to West Oshtemo Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
