    Elaine P. Ley, 72, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 1999 at Mid-Michigan Regional medical Center, Clare, Michigan. Eliane was born October 29,1927, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Ithamer and Alice (Landeryou) Shaw. Mrs. Ley had resided in Harrison for the previous six years, moving from Brown city. The former Eliane Shaw Barnett was united in marriage to Barthol Ley on February 28, 1998, in
    Romulus. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1804, Harrison.

    Surviving are her husband Bart Ley, a son James Moshier of California, a brother in law, Lewis Skeels of Harrison, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Eliane was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, 3 sisters and a step-sister.

    Memorial services were held Saturday, December 18, 1999. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cem., Saginaw, Michigan.
