'Eivind Ranesson [child of Riddar Rane Jonsson and Kristine Alvsd. Spendelsko], fekk Søndre Reine i Komnes sokn i Sandsvær ca. 1336, kanskje g m dotter til grev Jakob av Halland'
translation: Eivind Ranesson [child of Riddar Rane Jonsson and Kristine Alvsd. Spendelsko], received southern Reine in Komnes parish in Sandsvær ca. 1336, possibly married to a daughter of Count Jakob of Halland.
'He was born about the year 1280 and was married to the daughter of the KNIGHT Peter Jakobson of Halland. He was of the families SAkjalm Hvites and KING Valdenar (of Denmark).'
NOTE: He may have been born earlier than 1290, but 1280 is a bit early if his great-great-grandparents (Alv Erlingsson and Ingeborg Bårdsdatter) were married in 1226, as stated in the same book (1:95). Note also that this part of this book presents an accepted lineage of the time, and (regarding the matter of Eivind's wife) should not be considered more accurate than Kirkeby's work, which clearly involved new research.
