… … Edward Wood of Great Limber, made his will 28 August 1550 and it was proved 8 October 1551 on the oath of his widow Joan. He requested burial in the churchyard of Great Limber and left to the poor men's box there 4d. The residue of his goods he left to his wife Joan Wood and his daughter Margaret, in equal portions, naming them executrixes. He named as supervisors Richard Lorde and William Benyt, leaving to each of them 2s.
