VIENS EDWARD RENE Age 76, passed away on June 9, 2002. A resident of California for many years. He was associated with State Farm Insurance until his retirement. He was a member of the Golf Nuts in Castro Valley for many years. He is survived by his brother Rudy E. Viens of Soulsbyville, CA; five children; Robert Viens, David Viens, Laurieanne Audette, Kathy Silva, John Viens, 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He will be buried with full military honors at the Veteran's Cemetery in Exeter, Rhode Island. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations may be sent to the Heart Association in his name.
