Mr. Treesh had been in poor health for several years but during the last month complications set in, and in spite of medical aid and the tender care of loved ones, he became gradually worse until the messenger of death called him to the spirit world. On Nov. 25, 1894, he was united in marriage to Rhoda Housel. To this union one son, Ray Treesh, was born. But the four short years the family circle was broken, Mrs. Treesh being taken on Feb. 7, 1898. Three years later on April 20, 1901, Mr. Treesh was united in marriage to Olive Mason. To this union another son, Chester, was born. After 29 years of happy companionship, Mr. Treesh had to bid farewell to his second companion, April 7, 1930. On Aug. 19, 1931, he was married to Mrs. Eva Harvey of Auburn, who has served in the home since then as a worthy companion and home maker, and of whom it can truly be said, "she hath down what she could." Mr. Treesh accepted Christ about 20 years ago, uniting with the Methodist church at LaOtto. Several years later he united with the Church of the Brethren at Cedar Creek in which faith he died. He spent most of his married years on a farm near St. John's. About seven years ago he moved to his late home to care for his wife's aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mason Besides a companion and two sons, two brothers survive, Louis and Charles, both of Garrett, and two grandchildren. There is also a host of neighbors and friends whose sympathies go out to the family.
