    ... Edward Simms, married Anne, born 1744, daughter of Philip and Jane (Gardiner) Edelen, of Prince George’s County, but if any issue resulted, they failed to mature. She predeceased her mother who died testate in 1793, but Edward Simms approved the appraisement of the estate in that year. He died in 1804, and by his will probated in the District of Columbia, a number of relationships are proved.
