Communication from Alice Abarr, daughter of Edith Purchase, daughter of Sarah Mouttell: "Died about the age of 14. Accident. When parents returned from town, Milie said she could not find Edward. He was hanging in the barn by his neck. (My Mother always said it was an accident, Gloria said that Aunt Jessie found out later a neighbor saw a horse at the barn. The owner was a fellow Grandfather Purchase had fired."
